You don't need to be planning a home birth to hire one of our pools. Many families labour at home before heading to hospital, but don't have a bath, or their bath isn't big or comfortable enough.
Warm water can be soothing and help you cope with contractions, and one of our pools brings that support into your home.
Our oval birth pools are a good, practical size: comfortable to labour in, without taking up too much room in your home. Each one has soft padded walls and floor, a built-in seat and handles to hold onto, and is cleaned and sanitised between hires with a fresh liner.

We're Pia and Edwina, two Melbourne mums with four little ones between us. We started Oasis Birth because we believe every family should be able to labour at home, in comfort, for as long as they choose.
Pia had her own home birth, and it was such a special, empowering experience that she wanted to help other mums have the same. Edwina has had two really positive births of her own, and she has a business degree, so she looks after the business side of our duo.

Pick-up is from Thornbury. Delivery and collection is available within approximately 10km of Thornbury or Reservoir at an extra cost.
Each hire runs for 6 weeks, so you have flexibility around your due date.
